To improve adjacencies and circulation in this family bungalow we created a new angled wall plan and master bath addition.  Three trapezoidal skylights echo this geometry and flood the master closet, guest bath, and kitchen with natural light.  A built-in breakfast area facing the backyard is an intimate escape from the otherwise open floor plan.  Peek through a narrow slit in the wall, like the one from the kitchen island to the library, to check in without disturbing a bookworm.
