This wheelchair accessible home preserves a large oak tree in the center of the site and creates a screened porch and north-facing yard at back.  The undulating roof mirrors area topography as well as the gently rolling motion of a wheelchair.  Easy circulation, accessible appliances, fixtures, low storage, and ample knee space at sinks and counters were designed for the client's comfort as well as for her guests or a future able bodied owner.
